I'm so excited to announce that Makeup and Breakup Series will be featured at the Hollywood Black Film Festival as an Official Selection this year! We are in the category of new media up against some great new talent and I'm extremely excited for our project. I'm going to be honest. What I have learned and read about Maya Angelo was a product of school and anything I just happened to come across. Ironically before her death I started to take the time to research her work, her life, and everything she has to offer. This clip from Oprah's Master Class series sums up the wisdom and fullness she lived with that as far as I can see, has touched the world tremendously in indirect and direct ways. I have had so many clouds in my life, so many clouds that have recently blocked my view of the universe and the purpose. This, my art, my passions, the world around me those are my rainbows.
